Susan M. Mcneil

Susan M. (Arsenault) McNeil, 68, of Berlin, NH passed on to be in the arms of the Lord on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH after a series of long term illnesses. Susan was born May 11, 1949 in Berlin NH and was a graduate of Berlin High School in the class of 1967. She was a college graduate of White Mountain Community College, getting a degree in culinary arts in 1988. She was employed at Saint Vincent de Paul nursing home in the dietary department then later worked at Shaws Supermarket before falling ill in the early 90s. Susan enjoyed being with family, especially her littlest of buddies, her great-grandson Braecyn. She was always positive about life and could make a room shine with her laughter and smile. She will always be remembered as being a beautiful person inside and out, as well as a great wife, mom, sister, grammy, and great nana. She is survived by her husband of 48 years; Richard McNeil of Berlin, NH, her daughter; Michelle (McNeil) Delafontaine and husband Raymond of Berlin, NH, her sister; Lorna Roy of Berlin, NH, her grandchildren; Kayla Delafontaine and Kyle Delafontaine, as well as a great grandson; Braecyn Delafontaine all of Berlin, NH, an aunt; Lillian Arsenault of Berlin, NH, two cousins; Julie McLain and husband Steven of Milan, NH and Mark Tyler of Indiana, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her infant son; Gary Richard McNeil, her parents; Delphis and Lorraine Arsenault, her uncle; Leon Arsenault, and her aunt; Beatrice Arsenault. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday May 1, 2018 at 11 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. There will be no calling hours per request of Susans wishes. Interment will be in the New City Cemetery. . Arrangements are under the direction the Bryant Funeral Home in Berlin, NH.
