Therese Y. Larin

Therese Y. (Guay) Larin, 97, of Berlin, passed away on Thursday February 26, 2015 at the St. Vincent de Paul Rehab and Nursing Center. She was born in Montreal, PQ, Canada on September 28, 1917 the daughter of Dollard and Alice (Roy) Guay and resided there until she moved to Lewiston, ME in 1949. Therese moved to Berlin in 1959, where she has since resided. She was a member of Good Shepherd Parish and had been employed by the Traveler Motel. She loved gardening, reading, painting, knitting and cooking. Family includes her daughters Nicole Morin and husband Pierre of Berlin, NH and Claudette Aviles and husband Albert of West Richland, WA; her son Pierre Larin and wife Jeannine of Berlin, NH: 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; her brother Gilles Guay of Montreal, PQ and sisters Estelle Charbonneau and Claire Lachalpelle of Montreal, PQ. She was predeceased by her husband Rene Larin, a daughter Monique Kenison and brothers Jean Guay, Sarto Guay and Paulo Guay. Graveside services will be held on Saturday June 13, 2015 at 1 PM at the Forest Vale Cemetery in Jefferson. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
