Vivianne Ruth Saucier

July 31, 2019 — May 29, 2024

Milan, NH

Vivianne Ruth Saucier, 4, passed away on May 29, 2024 at the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth following a courageous battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She was born on July 31, 2019 in Lebanon, NH to Raymond and Brigid (Walsh) Saucier.

Vivianne had the most beautiful smile.  She brightened everyone’s day.  She always looked around the room to make sure everyone there was paying attention to her and clapping appropriately when she did something amazing.   She, then, had to high-five or give knuckles to those present.  Vivianne loved bubbles, her drumsticks, painting, making “snacks” and “soup” with her play food, feeding her “babies”, and driving her Cozy Coupe.  Viv loved flipping through her books, pictures on cell phones, and YouTube videos.  She loved watching Masha and the Bear, Cocomelon, Turning Red (“Eeeee”, “Fight the power”), Tangled, Moana, and Up.  When asked if she wanted something, and she said “No”... which was often... and was then pressed with, “Are you sure?”, she’d automatically respond with the cutest “I sure”.  She was very interested in climbing stairs (the steeper the better) and she loved closing doors.  Nothing gave Viv more satisfaction than throwing every item she touched.  Her favorite thing to do more recently, when she was home from the hospital, was being held by her Mama and swaying to the music of her Christmas and Disney Princesses CD’s.  Most of the time there was NO singing or NO dancing, but on occasion it was allowed.  She would crack up when Daddy would smell her feet and pretend to cough from her “stinky, stinky feet”.  Viv soothed herself by playing with people’s fingers- and anyone she touched was comforted by this as well.  Vivianne loved flowers and hated bugs!  She loved animals, especially her dog Wilson (“Silson”), her cat Molly, and Baxter the therapy dog at CHaD, who certainly brightened her Wednesdays while she was in treatment.  She loved her family so much!  Vivianne was the most “Beautiful girl”.  She was strong, brave, loved, blessed and she will be missed more than words can express.

She is survived by her loving parents Raymond and Brigid; paternal grandmother Suzanne Tilden and her husband Randy of Milan; paternal grandfather David Saucier of Berlin; her aunt and godmother Amy Burlock ("Auntie Mamie") and her husband Harold ("Uncle Harolck") of Milan; her uncle and godfather Benjamin Walsh of Raynham, MA; numerous loving aunts and uncles: Mark (Dodie), Sharon, Greg (Denise), Christopher, Bernard (Penny), Maura (Pat), Matthew, Martin (Linda), David, Monica (Joseph), Thomas (Angie); many great aunts, great uncles, cousins, classmates, teachers, therapists, and friends. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents William and Joanne Walsh, her uncle Kevin Walsh and her aunt Jenny Sullivan.

The family wishes to thank the medical staff at CHaD, the Milan Village School and the community for their love and support during Vivianne's illness. It has been appreciated and will always be remembered.
