Walter D. Prescott

Walter David Prescott passed away at St Vincent’s nursing Home February 6, 2025, at the age of 91. Walter was born in West Milan NH on April 29, 1933. He attended West Milan schools and graduated a course for heavy equipment. His career included being a Union Linesman, traveled across the country, worked for West Milan, plowing roads, logging in the woods and he started a small logging business of his own prior to an accident that broke his back and left him disabled in 1982.

Walter enjoyed fishing, going on rides with family and friends, going to McDonald’s for chicken nuggets and attending the Lancaster Fair each autumn.

Walter is remembered by his sister Jennie Call of Berlin NH and many nieces & nephews, cousins and great nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Johnson Prescott, his parents Collin and Dorothy Prescott, his older sister Olive Turner, his older brother Collin “Jack” Prescott, and a younger sister Pauline Abbott

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 1:00pm-3:00pm. There will be a graveside service in the spring in the Riverside Cemetery in West Milan. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
