Berlin, NH
Wilfred Roland Gagnon passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Maine Medical Center. He was 83.
Born in Berlin, NH on March 15, 1932 he was the son of Adelard and Jenny (Black) Gagnon.
Wilfred married Barbara Gadbois and together they raised four Children.
A lifelong resident of Berlin he was employed at James River Corporation in the Towel Room. He was a member of the Local 75.
Family was his greatest joy, he and his wife Barbara enjoyed dancing and bowling. He was a member of the Eagles where he enjoyed playing Cribbage and pool. He was a fan of the Bruins and the Patriots.
He is predeceased by his parents and six brothers.
He leaves his loving wife of 63 years, Barbara Gadbois; three sons, Michael Gagnon and wife Cindy of Berlin, NH, Brian Gagnon and wife Carol of Randolph, NH, and Steve Gagnon and wife Kim of West Milan, NH; one daughter Karen Rand and husband Christopher of Newton, NH; Nine grandchildren, Ryan Gagnon, Stephanie Gagnon, Tayler Taylor, Adam Rand, Erik Rand, Corey Gagnon, Jennifer Kennedy, Autum Gagnon and Justin Gagnon; Five great-grandchildren, Broedy Gagnon, Melaine Rand, Michael Rand, Jack Kennedy, Johnathan Rand. Several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Monday, October 26 at St Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. The Rite of Committal will follow at St. Kierans Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held from 1:00pm to 4:00pm Sunday, October 25 and 8:30am to 9:30am Monday prior to the Mass at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH.
