William L. Hedberg

Mr. William L. Hedberg, 75, of 47 Plain Rd., Crystal, NH passed away on Monday December 22, 2008 at his home. He was born in Bridgeport, CT on June 30, 1933 the son of Theodore W. and Ruth V. (Westland) Hedberg. He was raised in Fairfield, CT and lived there until moving to Crystal in 1977. He was a US Army Veteran and was self-employed as a carpenter and a home builder. He enjoyed gardening, was an outside enthusiast, loved nature and also had taken many investment courses, which became a professional interest. He truly loved the North Country and the people of the area. He was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Berlin. Members of the family include his wife of over 52 years Gloria Hedberg of Crystal, NH; 2 sons Theodore W. Hedberg and wife Pauline of Dover, NH and John E. Hedberg of Boston, MA; 1 daughter Donna Marie Singh and husband Edward of Mayaquez, Puerto Rico; 4 grandchildren William L. Hedberg, Christopher F. Hedberg, Nathan E. Singh and Ryan A. Singh; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister Evelyn Imbimbo. Funeral services will be held on Friday December 26, 2008 at 2 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 101 Norway St., Berlin, NH. Spring interment will be in the Northumberland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, NH on Wednesday December 24 from 1-3 PM and on Friday December 26 from 11:30 to 1:30 PM prior to the funeral.
