Yvonne Aurore (Bourassa) Martineau

Yvonne Aurore (Bourassa) Martineau of Berlin passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital following a brief illness. She had recently been living at Coos Country Nursing Home. She was 88 years old.

Born on September 26, 1928 in St. Hermenegilde Canada she was the daughter of Arthur and Marie Eva (Roy) Bourassa.

She was a member of the Good Shepherd Parish. Her greatest love was her family. Over the past several years she enjoyed participating in all the activities at Coos Country Nursing home, especially playing Bingo.

Besides her parents she is predeceased by her sisters Simone (Theberge) and Annette Sage; a brother Florian Bourassa and her son-in-law Laurier "Larry" Boucher.

She leaves behind her daughter Suzanne Boucher of Berlin, a son Denis Martineau of Gorham, NH; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; her sister Jeannette (Vanasse) of Coos County Nursing Home, Yvette (Ouimette) of Manchester, Lucienne (Harrington) of Gorham, Fernande (Dion) of Berlin, and several nieces, nephews and cousin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 11:00am at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish with Father Richard Dion serving as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Berlin.

Calling hours will he held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 8:30 to 10:30 at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH
